Our Story
Imani’s Closet began its journey in 2020. The founder Charmaine Wray named this boutique after her loving daughter. Charmaine and her daughter used to spend their quality time bonding through shopping different retailers. In these experiences, I found that there were not enough apparel retailers that had inventory that met my fashion needs. Either the apparel would be too young or too old for my taste. What about that person in between? So, my objective and it became my ultimate desire to create a boutique that would provide a shopping experience that both mother and daughter could shop and bond. Therefore, throughout the site you will see styles modeled by mothers and daughters. Fashion transcends through age, cultures, and genres alike. We want to make your shopping experience pleasurable, fun and exciting that all parties can enjoy!
